Things are difficult to imagine for us if we don’t come into contact with them in our everyday life, like in case of the unit micrometer (µm). The Vinyl High Resolution from smart optics has an accuracy of 4 µm according to ISO 12836.
But how much is a “µm” actually? Quite simple: 1000 microns are the same as one millimeter. We have researched three examples for you which illustrate how thick or thin objects in our everyday life are.
In a direct comparison you can imagine how accurate our scanner is – namely extremely accurate!
