Smart optics was founded in 1996 in Bochum. In the beginning, the company focused of Quality Assurance in the electronics area, so equipment was developed for this field.

From the very beginning, developments were started in the 3D area. Engineering know-how plus innovation became the key to state-of-the-art products.

Today, the national and international sale network makes sure the products of smart optics are available in many countries.

We are also on-hand in person to our customers; as we join fairs, symposia and congresses.
