Activity 85

With Activity 85 we present our first general purpose scanner with a revolutionary interactive operation.

Due to the intuitive operation the optical 3D scanner Activity 85 allows to quickly digitize nearly all objects of a size of up to approx. 50 x 40 x 35 mm .

Based on a strategy of a step by step measurement small portions of the object are measured under different viewing angles and with high resolution each. The measurements are later on pasted together to give a data set with high accuracy and superior attention to details. The matching of the individual measurements is done fully automatically based on position encoders that report the position of the measuring head so that the 3 dimensional position of each individual measurement is automatically taken into account by the software.

Due to the patented fringe pattern projection with high power long-life LEDs the optical system has no coherent noise and therefore has a superior accuracy compared with laser based scanners.
